Description

A fine English violin by Martin Jones, made in 2001, completed following training at the Newark School of Violin Making and finished in Henley-on-Thames. The instrument is crafted from carefully selected tonewoods, featuring an excellent spruce table and a lightly figured maple back, finished in a traditional golden amber oil varnish. It produces a warm, well-balanced and responsive tone with clear projection, even response across the registers, and a comfortable, easy-playing feel. The violin has been well cared for and remains in very good condition, with no structural issues, and is professionally set up for immediate performance. A reliable and well-crafted instrument offering strong tonal performance, good projection, and suitability for both advancing students and professional players. Available for trial. Has been cherished for over 20 years and now looking for a new owner.
