Description

A well-made German violin by Wolff Brothers, dated 1907, representative of the quality found in the German trade instruments of the period. The instrument features a highly flamed two-piece maple back, with matching ribs and scroll, finished in a warm golden oil varnish that highlights the figure of the wood. It is in very good condition for its age and has been well maintained, remaining structurally sound and ready for immediate use. It produces a clear, warm tone with good projection and a balanced response across all strings, making it suitable for advancing students and experienced players alike. A fine and reliable example of early 20th-century German violin making. Available for trial.
